Bug's that need a fix asap

Hello,

I'm worried about this scriptwarings for a long time now I wonder who can fix them and if they will be fixed ever ?

Warning - can't add biterfish independently from biterfish schools

this one below does fill-up the log-file so fast it also cause crashes

Warning: SmokeGenerator Glacialis_v2.SmokeGenerator8 (Function UnrealShare.SmokeGenerator.Active.Timer:001D) Attempt to assign variable through None
ScriptWarning: SmokeGenerator Glacialis_v2.SmokeGenerator8 (Function UnrealShare.SmokeGenerator.Active.Timer:0015) Accessed None 'D'


and this does let crash a server instant , it can happen on every map switch , I also have this while working with editor when switching trough maps:

Critical: Can't replace RocketCan2 BBGBarrelsCoop.RocketCan2 with RocketCan

in this case BBGBarrelscoop = map name not a mutator lol I have no idea where it gets Roketcan2 as this doesn't exist as actor but as actor-name it is of course Smiley

That's not really a bug in Biterfish.uc. The message indicates that a mapper or modder used the class in a wrong way. Smart mappers and modders are supposed to read the logs and properly fix detected bugs in their maps/code.

Specially for mappers who like to do weird things without looking into logs (and possibly without checking the results of their creative activity at all) we can add the nousercreate class specifier to Biterfish, so that UnrealEd 2.2 will refuse to place actors of this class on maps.

In 227j, this bug was fixed 6 years ago (2013-06-21).

As far as I know, it has no any effect outside of UnrealEd. If an actor of such a class is already included in a map, its behavior won't be affected by that specifier.

Happens when you end a classname with a digit.

Map contains a rocketcan which has name RocketCan2, then as server loads the map it for some reason tries to replace that MyLevel.RocketCan2 with the class object BBGBarrelsCoop.RocketCan2.

I think purpose of this object replacement is mostly for when you re-import sounds or textures, but the engine isn't capable of handling it when it finds map objects with same names as classes.
