Hey, I just downloaded this game again, since.. um about 10 years ago. I got the game running and such, but i notice there isn't any classics. So Im trying to run a classic 1v1 with 227i, I  dedicated the server... but it only shows in Lan Servers. I enable bEnabled, did the
Vortex2?game=unreali.deathmatchgame? -server -log
enabled the douplink to true also webserver to true. I dont know what else to do?

Do you intend to run a public server? You may need to open some ports; UDP 7777-7790 and 27900 I what I have.

I think I remember you from aeons ago when you used to play coop, crazy. Knew your cousin(?) too.

Try port forwarding UDP  and TCP for the 7xxx ports. I believe one uses a TCP link but i could be wrong. One thing you can do to tell if your server is actually linking to the master server but the ports arent forwarded is to refresh the list of all servers and look for your IP address in the "all server" tab. If it disappears (via timeout) then you probably dont have port forwarding setup properly. There is a caveat to this, which is that some ISPs/NATs dont let you connect to your external IP from your LAN, so you may need someone else with a different IP to verify that your server is indeed working.

People setting up Unreal servers behind firewalls and routers have been asking for a summary of the TCP/IP ports Unreal uses. Here goes:

UDP 7775 and 7776 are used only for LAN games. You don't need to route them through a firewall.
    UDP 7777 is for gameplay.
UDP 7778 is for server querying.
UDP 7779+ are allocated dynamically for each helper UDPLink objects, including UDPServerUplink objects.
UDP 27900 is for server querying, if you enable the master server uplink. Some master servers use other ports, like 27500.

If you are running Unreal as a server behind a Cable/DSL Router you need to go to the port forwarding menu on your router and forward Unreal's ports to the internal IP that your server has.
Consult the manual and support page of your router / firewall vendor for instructions.

Please note that some ISP's may not hand you a public IP address. Instead, you get a shared IP behind the ISP's massive NAT firewall. You can see this by checking your router. If your WAN IP address is one of these, you are out of luck and will need to switch ISP's.
