Difficulty Settings Questions

Iím starting to find the original gamesí hardest difficulty setting a bit easier and so wouldnít mind playing on Unreal or Godlike. However I like the enemy hit points the way they are, itís just that I want to take more damage. So do the new difficulties do that or do they just make enemies bullet sponges?

Higher difficulty levels affect health, sight radius, movement speed, speed of projectiles, and damage factor of enemies:

Code
Select All
	if (Level.Game.difficulty > 3)
	{
		newskill = FClamp(Level.Game.difficulty-3, 1, 3);

		if (health > 9 ) // give weaker pawns a small boost
			health += (100 *newskill) / health;
		health *= 1+(0.15*newskill);
		SightRadius+= 100*newskill;
		projectileSpeed += 100*newskill;
		RotationRate.Yaw *= 1+(0.15*newskill);
		AccelRate += 100*newskill;
		groundspeed += 10*newskill;
		waterspeed += 10*newskill;
		airspeed += 10*newskill;
		DamageScaling=default.DamageScaling+(0.5*newskill);
	}

Also 227i has a bug that makes monster's aim with prediction worse on all difficulty levels.

Thanks mate. Really can't be bothered but think I'll restart the game.
