It's like the Top view combined with 2D Shape Editor. You draw shapes like in MS Paint (rectangle, ellipse and arbitary shape), which then instantly get turned into brushes based on the specified parameters.

This program is not yet finished. Many features are incomplete or missing. You have to place the vertices in clockwise order, and not make the shapes too complex, otherwise bad stuff will happen.

Update (WIP 2):
- Added proper rendering of sheered brushes.
- Added vertex edit mode.
- Added multiple actor selection with Ctrl+Alt.
- Added "Open with..." support.
- Fixed semisolids being displayed as solid.
- Added right-click menu on actors and level.
- Made the new brushes have a reasonable origin (instead of 0,0,0).
- Dimensions can be now also specified by Z-min and Z-max.
- Changed "Extrude to point/bevel" Z-dimensions to match those in "Extrude".
- Added possiblity to add actors.
- Actors are now rendered as sprites.
- Added actor and level properties.

Thanks for continuing to write great tools. This is yet another example. Such things should have came with Unreal in the first place.

Will you add the ability to draw in 3d as well or at least the two other viewports? And grid support? Because then things will be better and we can make true 3d shapes with that. I made something that looks great from the top but the propertions and things ended up quite bad ingame so it isn't as big godsent as I initally assumed it to be.

I may add a 3D preview, but no more editable viewports. The reason is that currently everything is optimized for rendering in the Top view (stored as 2D shapes, etc.) and without this optimization, the rendering is extremely slow. On the other hand, if I did the optimization for three viewports, the updating (when moving, rotating, etc.) would be three times slower.

Either way, I didn't plan this to be a "complete" UEd replacement.

Also, if you care about proportions, pay attention to the "Delta" value in the status bar. It can be used to measure size of stuff.

At least make it possible to switch between them, not at the same time I mean...there's the freehand tool stuff in later versions of unreal engine for bsp editing which allows you to make vertices/lines in the air but it does allow you three dimensional freedom. That's the thing I'd like to see possible and drawing is easy enough with your tool.

It doesn't work importing in unrealed? You need to do it through level import either way as this makes mini-levels and you can also edit exported t3ds in this.

Either way that reminds me of something else. But I don't wanna go fully off-topic here so I won't say it.  Grin
