The two ships seem to have the same texture on the top and bottom parts, but there are pretty big differences between the two.

Things are going well with the pack. SteadZ has joined the team as a mapper, and everyone has made good progress lately. You can see screenshots from the maps by Teridax, Tronovision, Doublez-Down, and SteadZ (in that order) in the original post.

That's the plan, although coop for Unreal will be limited to 227 since the pack uses the emitter system.
