Counter-Strike weapons for Unreal 1




What is it?
CSWeapons227 is a weapons mod for Unreal 1, with added features made possible using patch 227.
In the making for about 2 years, CSWeapons227 is a step-up from the original CSWeapons mod released about 2 years ago.

(Ripped from the readme)
This weapon pack contains 18 weapons converted directly from Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, which are split up into the following categories:
Pistols
Shotgun
Sub-Machineguns
Assault Rifles
Heavy Machinegun
Sniper Rifle
Grenade/Explosives

Contained also is a mutator with various options, ideal for both coop and deathmatch games.
Read the readme for more info.

Unless any more bugs are found or any more ideas people can suggest(?), this can be considered the final version
Updated to v1.3
What's new?
- Over 10 new weapons added, for a total of 28!
- A slew of bug fixes and improvements!

There are a few CS maps I've converted floating around, I'll see if I can get hold of a few and throw them in too!

Cool!  I added it as a votable mutator on the {hLk} Newbies Welcome server.  Running through a few maps on it now.  I seem unable to get crosshairs working even though i set bEnableCrosshairs=True in the ini and also my player options has crosshairs enabled.

Seems to be a replication issue, I'll keep looking into it!

played quite a few maps w/the CS mutator on our server yesterday.  The only complaint was that the accuracy seemed a bit off, and fights were taking a bit longer than expected.

A UT version might be coming at some point, can't really say when due to uni starting again soon.

I have been enjoying using these.
Very nice animations.
I've been adding EFX info to loads of old maps, just to maximise the enjoyment.
Firing some of these in a valley or canyon sounds awesome.

Is that v1.3 ?
I just looked inside and it supports remapping the weapons in the patched UT botpacks.
I guess this is 1.3

BTW. it is easier to use and configure if you make a "CSWeapons227.int" file
There are 2 alternatives for making it list in the advanced options window

Just by chance I saw someone bumped this, the old link died due to me running out of dropbox space and I deleted about 20gb worth of stuff  Undecided

I'm aware this mod is still broken in some places, I'll probably get round to fixing it up at some point

Also I wouldn't recommend hosting the godawful 225 version on a server, it's a bit broken online and I really don't want to revisit code I wrote when I was 17
