I'm glad I glanced at the old unreal forums today! Thanks for all your work, Diehard and Ahaigh! Diehard, you should post this over in the UnrealSP forums, too.

You know what I'm hoping for more than anything else for the next package to be done? Crypt2! Especially since I'm working toward releasing an RTNP Ultimate Edition that includes polished versions of the Cut Unreal beta maps, all of them that were intended to be included in Unreal or RTNP. There are 3 massive levels that use the crypt2 package (I think they may have been cut because of detail levels too high at the time of their release).

Edit: Just realized that I've pretty much made one post per year in this forum, and I'm sure most were about these texture updates.

Can I suggest something?  The wall.wmbr texture in NaliCast is too uniform in color, and too clean.  The original texture had different shades of bricks, and had a dirty older look to it.  The new texture looks awesome, mind you.  I just think it could use a few changes.  Smiley

Done Smiley

But already was planned, but as usual lack of time and to much todo lists.

You are aware that that package is on of the largest packages around? But i had a look at the package, and maybe something can be done. I already knew it borrows lots of textures from Mine, NaliCast and castle1, but never realised(or noticed) it also makes use from tons of DecayedS textures.

No promise but ill see what i can do.

I added it as an (advanced)beta texture, and yes i can include a better one in a next update, and hopefully alot more other textures.

Little point for anyone that already has the textures. But i re-did the Extreme End download pages. The pages now require lots of less clicking and you can download all packages from the same page at this link:

Unreal Extreme End

I also made it more easelly for people that download the textures for the first time. On top of that page you can download the missing High End textures in on download so you dont have to download all High End MasterFiles and than overwrite them with Extreme End.

Now you simply can download the missing High End files and than complete them with the Extreme End files directly below that. No double downloading anymore Smiley Or complex explanations Smiley And it saves about 40-60 clicks Smiley

It's a large package, but many of the textures are just parts of other textures in a different order.  There are close to 20 textures starting in "cston" that look identical, only with different colors.  I'm sure the package will still take some time to complete, but I hope you get around to it. I can agree with this 100%.  I think the new texture is a great start and is looking very awesome (especially on those nali huts), but it's a bit too clean for Unreal standards.  If only it could be dirtied up a bit more and maybe even given a 3d bumpmap then I think i'd piss my pants.

Thanks Diehard for doing all this!  I will have to get caught back up on things as I haven't been doing anything with Unreal for a few months.... Smiley

Finally a new texture  release. Thanks for  your work as always.

Do you accept donations btw. You have made a valuable gift to the Unreal community and I wouldn't mind sending a few dollars your way
