Advanced Options -> Drivers -> Audio -> ALAudio

Skydev <Generic> = Chaos13 <Generic/Unreal1/UT99> = Dimension4 <Unreal1/UT99>

And your "fix" wont work if you are not using ALAudio.

If need use Galaxy then
In unreal.ini find [Engine.Engine]
Change AudioDevice=ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem to AudioDevice=Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem

or

Options -> Advanced Options -> Drivers -> AudioDevice -> Galaxy
All!
Compatibility Windows NT - not required
DopplerSpeed and DopplerFactor - default

If set galaxy, anything else to do it is not necessary

And on my integrated soundcard the sound became better. And on Fmod - best.
Fmod is switched as galaxy.

Setting Doppler off without NT compatibility mode doesn't work... Yet FMOD works just as nice!
Is there EAX on FMOD by the way?
