Weapons for Tactical ops

i'm trying to make new weapons for Tactical ops,( runs on UT engine 2) i know i need to covert a 3ds file to unr with this 3ds2unr converter using command promt, but when i try to convert the file he keeps saying that he can't find the file, can somebody help me out here? plz

ok i was able to converd it, but now when i try to make a .u file, with unreal -make command, it doesn't work, can somebody help me, plz

It doesn't work or are you getting errors? If it's plain just not working just use the run prompt and browse to your ucc.exe in your system folder. Then change ucc.exe to "ucc make". It sounds like you don't have the correct path for the command. Then once you get it to compile you can check the log for any errors.  Also make sure you have the package listed in your ini file.

"C:\Unreal\System\UCC Make"

it gives an error:

Critical Error

Failed to enter make: Can't file 'make'
History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

i wrote this in the command: D:\Games\Unreal\System\Unreal make



now when i use UCC, i get this:

Analyzing...
Can't find file matching..\Weapon\Classes\*.uc

Histiry: UMakeCommandLet::Main
Exiting due to error

i wrote this in the command: D:\Games\Unreal\System\ucc make

for so far i can see it should be something with the .uc file, but i got the uc file for the weapon

Well you're basically trying to make a weapon without its code from what I can see...

Unless I am greatly mistaken, you'll need to write at least one weapon class which represents your weapon in game (summon weapon.classname).

The codefile will specify which mesh, textures etc. to use and load as well as which animation is to be played when (exec statements). Don't ask me how this works precisely, the expert on this is BOZO. There should be some tutorials floating around too, though...

And yea "make" (without "-") is a command servlet, so only "ucc" can execute it.

i have a .uc file for the weapon, but it's my first time i try some scripting so maybe i made a misstake i the code
