The language needs a lot of work. Translation might be shaky, and some files may be obsolete resulting in broken menus or defaulting to the .int files. Some of the most urgent changes were made using automatic translation tools and need to be reviewed by a native speaker.
For both Unreal and Unreal Tournament, we're basing ourselves in the already existent localizations for Unreal Gold and retail Unreal Tournament.


In the case of UT, the localization has retail and/or fan translations, but their errors need to be checked.

Overview and Status

For both Unreal and Unreal Tournament, we're basing ourselves in the already existent localizations for Unreal Gold and retail Unreal Tournament.

  • Unreal:: The language is completed. This doesn't mean the work is done. New lines can appear at any time, and it's a good idea to keep track of these changes. Plus, the already translated lines, if done via computer, need review and rephrasing from actual speakers.
