I don't get it. Why game.game? There is no package called game, wtf. In oriignal it was done by [UMenuNewGameClientWindow]
GameText=Game:
Games[0]=Unreal
Games[1]=Return to Na Pali
StartMaps[0]=..\maps\Vortex2.unr
StartMaps[1]=..\maps\UPak\Intro1.unr
GameHelp=Select the game you wish to play.
SkillText=Skill Level:

Skills[1]=Medium
Skills[2]=Hard
Skills[3]=Unreal
SkillStrings[0]=Tourist mode.
SkillStrings[1]=Ready for some action!
SkillStrings[2]=Not for the faint of heart.
SkillStrings[3]=Death wish.

227 parses it differently under this specific case iirc

Seeing as Upak is compatible with 227 with a modified copy, I was wondering how the new game menu can be modified to add Upak so it can be selectable.
what you mean by "modified copy"? 227f disable upak, you mean there's a way to enable it?
No, it still works. You need a modified Upak.u that you can get here (
http://shivaxi.s3.amazonaws.com/UPak.u), move all of the mission pack content into the Unreal folders with the same names (no overwrites), and make sure the UPak maps are in the normal Maps folder. Then adding the following to Upak.int under the rest of the Object= stuff:
Object=(Name=Game.Game,Class=Class,MetaClass=Unrealshare.SinglePlayer,Description="Intro2;Unreal: Return To Na Pali")
Object=(Name=Game.Game,Class=Class,MetaClass=UnrealShare.SinglePlayer,Description="Intro1;Unreal: Return To Na Pali Intro")
(Remove any carriage returns that this text box has put in so that "SinglePlayer,Description" is on one line for example.)
Then you can select and play it in the game.

hey, thanks for the help, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. I've got Unreal Gold, and the Napali content is already in Unreal folders, except the maps that have their own folder in Maps\Upak. Do I have to modify that?

I don't think you need to move maps, adding a Path= line into your INI should be sufficient.

GreatEmerald is correct, you can simply add the path to your Unreal.ini. It's up to you which way you do it. I simply thought it simpler to move all the maps out of folder Maps/Upak into simply Maps/, but otherwise yes, with Unreal Gold the mission pack stuff will already be in unreal folders except for the maps.
