Decals through ICH

I'm sure you're all sick of decal-related problems by now but still...

There's an Invisible Collision Hull in front of me there, in the window frame. There's about 48 units between the collision hull and the wall behind, so I can't shoot the book. But when i do shoot :

Though the projectile is stopped bu the Invisible Collision Hull, the decal is still applied to the wall behind. Not even on the transparent sheet placed just behind the ICH, it reaches the wall.
(it happens with any weapon)

Ah yes this one....same problem in UT99....and UT2k3...and UT2k4...U2 and UT3 I dunno though...but I wouldn't doubt it that it does...this problem exists in pretty much every Unreal ever made :P ::)

yeah we know this one, not particularly sure why it does this since in UT it's not producible.

oh what it's not?  weird...it happens in 2k3/2k4...that I'm sure of...strange...

I tried it on Vortex2 near this glass before the skaarj lockdown area

Depends on how close the ICH is to what's behind it. I think it has to do with the collision size of the projectile itself...but keep in mind that I'm completely pulling that out of my ass.

Decals find surfaces 100 units away.

And why is the decal not applied to the sheet between the wall and the hull btw ? Is it because the sheet has no collision ?
