Map Change/Weapon Problems

(I'm using Dual Dispersion Pistols Only) anyway I'm using Dualweapons on Singleplayer and I'm having a Problem with Map Switching every time i switch maps in Singleplayer my Dualweapons switch back to 1 Weapon and if i have Power Upgrades it removes the upgrade for the Second Weapon, is there an easy way to fix that. I don't know anything about Scripting but if anyone could help me with this problem i would be thankful.

I know that this also happens in Oldskool, so it might not have an easy fix.

Hopefully it can be changed with a simple script change i'm only using 1 weapon so that should help alot, although keeping the Weapon Powerups for both weapons might be tricky.
