I just downloaded the Unreal Beta and ran into some problems. I'm using a glide wrapper to play called nGlide. When I switch from software rendering to glide via the menu, it works, but I can't move or look around. Nothing seems to register when I press the keyboard. Not even the console comes up when I press the tilde key. But, if I leave it in software, I can move and look around, and the console works. Does someone know why I can't move or look around in glide? Is there some sort of Unreal Beta Guide I can look through for setting up the game to play?
Also, one of the main reasons I wanted to try the beta was to hear all the unused beta music. I use foobar with the DUMB plugin to play S3M and UMX files. But for some reason, foobar cannot open the beta music. It opens the official tracks and the 1995 tech demo music tracks just fine, but not the beta tracks. Anyone know why? They work in-game when I played a little of the beta with software mode. So I don't think there corrupt.

It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

For Unreal music you should use the ModPlugPlayer. I never had any issues with it and it plays every umx file.

Thanks Leela, this program works for the beta music. Now can anyone help me with glide and the unreal beta? I still can't do anything when under glide mode. It loads fine but I can't shoot or move or even use the console.
