It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

I just wanted to ask if there is a Mod for Dual Dispersion Pistol's for Unreal Gold or Old Unreal or Unreal Anthology? Which Ever you prefer to call it.

Yes there is a mod which has all dual weapons (even the minigun which is my favorite) the upgrades for dispersionpistol also work, heres the link

Side note: the website's name is ut-files but this is the unreal1 section of it, so this mod is not for unreal tournament, but it is for unreal 1

@Rob_KC Thank you Sir i downloaded the Non-Beta-Version and Dropped the .U File it into the System Folder. Im wanting to try it with Singleplayer first is there anything i need to do inside the Editor or User.ini to make it work properly? I Read the Read-me and it didn't say anything on how to install it.

Your assuming he knows how to use Console commands. Which I dont think he does. (assuming this since hes not 100% sure how to install the mod)

Press ` (Tilde) and type (What Rob said here)

or as an alternative you can use tab instead of tilde

Sorry I know some about Console Commands just not the Modded Console Commands ill give it a Shot. Also everytime i change maps in Singleplayer it reverts back to 1 Weapon is their a Command to keep Duel Weapons when switching maps in Singleplayer or do i need to go into the Editor to change that?

well thats due to the fact that the defeault Unreal gametype uses the dispersionpistol for the default weapon, you would have to make a modified gamemode if you want to prevent that.

Mutators are only valid until map switch. The new 227i patch will prevent it since it has a new addition: Use Mutators option which allows you to add a mutator for the course of the entire campaign, autoloading it on each next map. Just wait until 227i is released and you'll be able to enjoy the entire game in Akimbo mode with this mutator you've got there.

Hm? They transfer quite well for me in the SP campaign using the console commands...

I actually got it to work by Replacing the Regular Dispersion Pistol in Vortex Rikers with the Dual Dispersion Pistol on the Editor then placing another Duel Dispersion Pistol nearby and it works well. The only Problem is on RTNP your given a Dispersion Pistol at start so i didn't see a way to Replace it with the Dual Version.

Hello,

There's a standalone script that lets the mapper select which weapon a player starts with. NBSp-Info. It needs to be put into a map and saved, so it might not serve your purposes.

Combined with the standalone script DualMag it works great. Set up the player starting with a single DualMag, and when the player grabs another pistol they become akimbo style. You get 2 Automags.

I used the DualMag script in my map DmSaberArena. It works quite well. I have tested the NBSp-Info script too. It also works like a charm for both Unreal 1 and UnrealGold.

I haven't tested the NBSP-Info script with 227h+ yet, but I can't for see any problems with it. I do know that DmSaberArena plays on all the 227 versions released to date.
