OldUnreal (Engine)

I will be upgrading the forum today so expect some downtime during the upgrade. This is a huge upgrade from the current version and hopefully downtime will not take to long. In the meantime I suggest holding off on new posts and topics. This will simplify the proccess.

Whew, what a job upgrading was. All users should check their usercp and verify their settings are correct. Please bear with us as we continue to make some final tweaks.

It seems that every new line character in the sigs was replaced by "&&", but otherwise it's good.

Also, while we're at it, could the "new posts in the forum" icon at least not be reverted to the blinking one that was before the update? Since it always bothered me with having to wait until it lights up just to know if there are new posts or not. This time I'm amazed at how quickly I can see new posts

Like I said bear with us. I spent almost 10 hours working on the upgrade and Smirftsch spent alot of time as well. The forum is not finished cosmetically yet, but we will continue to work on it.

things are a bit oversized imo.. but pictures are resized now i noticed? if you click them they go to theyre original size :O i like it

yeah, some stuff really needs to be tweaked yet. But need a nap now, so I guess it'll be fine for the next hours.

it looks like nice but for a few hours i was frightened that i can't login at oldunreal and see YaBB.pl and sended mail for smirtfsch what's is going on ;]

Slightly annoying but I also can't middle click to bring up the dynamic scroller thing anymore. Weird.

Just noticed this. Strange indeed, I don't know any other page that would do that... Nor why, since the scroller shouldn't be something influenced by HTML.

I never knew I'd have -1 messages.. Looks like I'm expecting one in the future then. Also the tool tips for the buttons are out of alignment.

Black text for the buttons under people's sigs makes it impossible to read against the back background.

Sorry to say this, but I absolutely hate this new look, it is overscaled, it looks crap on lower resolutions(that is right, I am not using very high resolution) and it is also somewhat slow.

It's pain to orient in it or look at...

I got no complaints as of now, I shall wait until it is completely finished to whine. ;-)

I also want to add, for some reason the forum topics are bugged... It keeps flagging something as new even though it dates from several months ago...

I have to agree. The older version was quick and easy on the eyes; not tons of crap being thrown into your face all at once. I also believe though its only been this way for a few hours and still needs to be fine-tuned by the admins, and that we probably need to adjust to it a bit; give it a little while and see if it settles in a bit.

bleh, calm down, need to finish yet. Sometimes just need sleep...

should be better now. Still not entirely done, especially in message view some things are not really fitting yet...
