It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Oh yeah, the only problem I have is that I can't use middlemouse to scroll quickly up and down the page. Any way to enable that again?

Works fine for me. Maybe enable java script? Just a guess.

Re: Forum Upgrade
Me and Pravin both use the same web browser, Firefox 3.6.8, we both have JavaScript turned on, and it still doesn't allow middle mouse, so what browser are you using Pitbull?
Something's capturing the input of the middle mouse button and is making it do nothing, there's also several javascript::void(0); statements that do absolutely nothing.
I also have a problem similar to this on some websites that deny right click if JavaScript is enabled... so there's something with this YaBB version that's capturing the input for some reason... Infact it seems the entire board itself is just a big JavaScript based GUI or something...
EDIT: Okay something strange is going on because it's suddenly decided to start working after I go through a few topics and my User CP, I still have my inbox saying I have "-1 messages" and my sent box saying I have "1 outgoing message" even though nothing's in them...
EDIT 2: ... Nevermind now I'm confused, SCROLLING the mouse wheel works, but HITTING the mouse wheel click, to bring up a directional arrow pad to quickly pan around pages, does NOT work... I've tried this numerous times now... (If you want to know what I mean, open a really large document in Notepad or Wordpad, or whatever text editor, and middle mouse click, which is usually clicking the mouse wheel itself, it'll do what I just described.)

Re: Forum Upgrade
new forum layout looks nice!
The only issue i've noticed is that you have to click onto the forum page first before i can scroll at all, apparantly when the page loads it locks onto the oldunreal frameset rather then the forum.
for the rest, i can scroll fine with multitouch (laptop)
unfortunately i cannot acces the page properly at all on a android mobile phone, i cannot click links or scroll.
this behavior wasnt with the previous forum.

Re: Forum Upgrade
It looks like a frameset, but it isn't. It's pure css made an I'm not surprised some mobile devices have problems with it although this css standard is quite old. The previous template used tables only.
Maybe try Opera Mini if available for your android. My Nokia does fine.

On my iTouch 2G with iOS4, Safari browser, I can only see what is loaded on my screen- no scroll bar is present. So when it loads down to the latest post, I can not scroll up to previous posts. I can only see whats loaded from that post to the top of my screen / to the bottom of my screen; no scrolling.

Re: Forum Upgrade
thats what Pitbull meant with everyone should verify his user settings/profile etc. Was a major update, so I guess not everything could be taken over automatically.
The -1 in your pm box however is funny, no idea about it.

Re: Forum Upgrade
Is there some corrupt PM in my "inbox" on the forum database that's making it say -1? Because I'm stumped about why it continues to say that.. My sent box still says I have 1 sent message even though I don't..
And it's not a setting when I meant "where's location:?" The forum apparently just prints out someones location without appending "Location:" on it, so it seems odd that it does that while it shows gender as "Gender: ".

Re: Forum Upgrade
I searched your .ims file, which stores your PM count etc. It looks like there was a message that you sent prior to the upgrade did not reach the recipient. I think I can fix it but I need some more info from your end before I make any changes. I'll try to catch you on MSN.

this is exactly how the page shows up on opera mini on android, anything beyond the top post is blank page.On my iTouch 2G with iOS4, Safari browser, I can only see what is loaded on my screen- no scroll bar is present. wouldn't mind if it works with mobile devices like the previous forum did, but if its too much hassle i don't really need it i guess

Re: Forum Upgrade
Opera on Symbian works too
Thing is that some browsers seem to have problems with using CSS properly... basically no forum issue but HTML/CSS, the "virtual Frameset" I'm using here is the reason for that.
