Re: vrml-2-t3d.zip Needed!!!
Thanks for the post. I saw those in my Google search. I need to go the other way. VRML to T3d (Importing VRML into Unreal).
If I can accomplish this, then you guys are in for a real treat. It can be done through milkshapes and 3dstudio max; I'm in the process of 'obtaining' both as we speak, legally of course.
What do you all think about N64 content in Unreal?

In the case it was usefull for you i already wanted to ask if you can explain what it all exactly is in understandable language
Unfortunatelly its not, but still, an explanation would be cool.

Explanation of what I'm trying to do? I'm taking Nintendo 64 games and porting their geometry to unreal. You hook up a serial cable to your N64 and PC, and dump the cartridge contents in binary. You can then use one of a handful of emulators and plug-ins to decompile the image. I've found one to take current visible geometry and dump it to VRML (Virtual Reality Markup Language). Now I'd like to convert VRML to T3d so I can import it into Unreal; essentially borrowing levels, models, textures, sounds, and music from games like Mario, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Turok 2, etc.

I already like the idea of Unreal to VRML. I completely forgot about that

Imagine the other way around, seeing Unreal level in Mario or Goldeneye 64.
This is the orginal page for this tool: http://www.cise.ufl.edu/~fishwick/vrml/Unreal/
Too bad all links are dead.

Re: vrml-2-t3d.zip Needed!!!
I think everyone's getting confused. :-)
VRML to T3d = N64 to Unreal
VRML to Unreal = N64 to Unreal
T3d to VRML = Unreal to malformed N64 rom
Unreal to VRML = Unreal to malformed N64 rom
Dots, I think it'd be near impossible to form a playable N64 rom. During the decompile, you're not dumping rom objects, you're basically walking through the game and when you see something you like you tell the emulator to dump a single frame to VRML. Putting that frame back into the game would be nearly impossible. Replacing the entire geometry resource, as you suggested, with a complete unreal level might be more realistic; however figuring out where to put it back in the rom and how to pack it to pass checks and copyright may be hard.

Let me also note: I'm far more interested in bringing new content to Unreal, than exporting from the game.

Here: http://www.klankaos.com/downloads/vrml2t3d.zip
Compiled it with Dev-C++ so I had to make some minor changes to let it compile, but it should work the same way.

This tool doesn't work. I think its vaporware... I found another way of converting that I'm pursuing. Here: http://www.klankaos.com/downloads/vrml2t3d.zip
