hi i thought id introduce myself
Im an old player from way back in 1999 to 04 and just reinstalled unreal.
I was on the forums way back but cant remember my user name I was even in a clan then though it too I cant remember.
Im glad to see oldunreal still going strong

I was looking for a cache converter for unreal and couldnt find one as I remember many maps but only got em in the cache now i think, any ideas anyone ?
see you out there in the dm, ctf or coop games.

As far as I know there is no cache converter for Unreal. }TCP{{Coco made one for Ut2004 and I tried to no avail to get him to make one for Unreal. Would be a nice tool though for Unreal as well.

yeah i saw this and I used it (or similar )for UT GOTY a few years ago.
I was sure there had been one for Unreal but must have been mistaken.
it would be usefull indeed.

I believe I have the one you are talking about, but it requires a Cache.ini file to be inside your cache folder, and if I'm correct, a Cache.ini did not exist for Unreal until version 227 (?), which means anything previous to it probably can't be converted using it. If that's true then I don't think it'd be of much use to you.

A tool which is supposed to copy all the files out of the cache and rename them to its original name and extension.

It can only extract packages one by one, but I will add such function in future release.
