First of all, this is super fantastic. Got Unreal on steam couple of months ago, played it for 100's of hours (single player imagine that) back in time.

And i was thrilled to find it on STEAM , personally opinion, best shooter ever made .

This site is awesome to, installed the 227 patch, worked like a charm very sweet.

I have 2 questions ... 'decals' , they are bloodspatters and whatnot am i right ? It does not change anything to the textures of walls and objects ?

Second question, is there any way to increase the damage of the quad-shot ? I've browsed through the advanced settings but could not find it.
Is there a file i can tweak ?

Decals are blood splatters, weapons' blast and so on, they do not change textures. As for modifying the damages dealt by a weapon, I'm afraid this requires changing the weapon's code.

no, only bullet type weapons require weapon code modification. for all the others you got to change the projectile code. Or am i wrong. :-/

Shit is situational. Some weapons can be modified directly, others can't. Fortunately you can change certain properties of the quadshot through the set command.

set quadshot hitdamage X

X = 12 as the default

My point was that he would need to use script, not that it was specifically the weapon that had to be changed. I know nothing about scripting myself ;)
