Can't get out of LAN

More trouble. I've looked in the tutorials and asked a few people, but I can't get my server public, it's staying an LAN server.
I'm running it as a dedicated server with version 225f. I am running it with the Monstermash, Infiltration and CS Weapons mods.
Under "Advanced Options - Networking",
[glow=yellow,2,300]DoUplink - True[/glow]
MasterServerAddress - (Blank) [I've read about this, it says leaving it blank sends it to gamespy by default, and truth to that?]
MasterServerPort - 27900
Region - 0
Update Minutes - 1
Under "Advanced Options - Server Beacon",
BeaconPort - 7776
BeaconProduct - Unreal
BeaconTimeout - 5.000000
[glow=yellow,2,300]DoBeacon - True[/glow]
ServerBeaconPort - 7775
I also have my firewall disabled, I heard from a reputable source that that might have been blocking it from being sent to to the masterserver, or something along those lines.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel as though I've hit a dead end.

Indeed are firewalls often the cause for such things not working, but if you disabled it, it shouldn't be the reason anymore (although I wouldn't advise to keep it off later then

)
Anyways, biggest reason nowadays are missing entries for NAT in the router, so you maybe need to enable port forwarding to your PC.
PS: If using 225 I can only recommend to run it with Nephthys, there is no chance to secure it without and 225 is having a lot of issues...

Why you don't install 227?? It has less network bugs than 225.

if your trying to join the server from the same lan that is hosting it (or from the same pc) it will show up as lan. Do you have a server name for it so we can check if it's online from outside your lan?

I've seen your server on the servers list. If you are using a router you might not see your own server in the list on the LAN network (apart from LAN servers list; due to different LAN/WAN IP-addresses).

I've actually ordered two rental servers. "DmDeck 16 1v1 Dallas" and "Classic Deathmatch New York". I am currently not running any from my computer, but thanks anyway! I'm 90% sure I need to portforward, since I cannot view any other servers of mine in any other games out of LAN.

yes in your router you would want to forward ports for the u1 server (if hosting on your lan and want the public to access it). Are you still trying to get that working or just going with the rented servers?

I believe I'm just going to stick with rented servers for now. I have it for 6 months, and I don't really need to host one now, since the server I'm renting has what I want on it. Thanks anyway though.
