Part of the map just "broke", "2 selected" glitch...

This is pissing me off really bad, so I apologize. Basically I've been adding quite a lot of triggers and special event in a part of the level. Everything is fine, lots of it is done, still a lot more to do.
At some point I accidentally do a "copy/paste" with one special event selected. Tapped ctrl + Z a few times and went on my way. Then I realized everytime I select various special event as well as other actors around that part, it all says "2 selected".. even if I only have one.
And now they all don't work. 10 Dispatchers, like 30 special events and triggers, all of them don't work. I can replace them all one by one, but that sounds like a PAIN, and there are others in the map at random places that are affected too.
What the HELL happened? How can I fix this?
EDIT: Well, seems like just rebuilding everything fixed it. Its not like I modified any physical part of the map so I have no idea why that worked.
