take that:
www.oldunreal.com/patch/OMP0.99-Unreal224.7z
www.oldunreal.com/patch/OMP0.99-Unreal226.7z
www.oldunreal.com/patch/OMP0.99-UnrealGold.7z
www.oldunreal.com/patch/OMP0.99-UT436-UT451.7z
contains OpenAL and FMod with all 227g updates and all D3D8/9 and OpenGL updates from the UTGLR renderers made by SMPDev (latest D3D9 1.3 and OpenGL 3.7)
Please test it to enable me release of 1.00
PS: 224 D3D8 and D3D9 doesn't allow switching between fullscreen and windowed at the moment, not sure if I can find the time to find out why and fix it...
PS2: Don't forget to update your ini entries!

Ran through it quickly and noticed a bug with ZRangeHack. This didn't exist in 227F. Look at the difference with the waterfall.
OMP OpenGL with ZRangeHack Disabled (Waterfall broken):
1.

2.
OMP OpenGL with ZRangeHack Enabled (Waterfall fixed):
1.

2.
OMP OpenGL with ZRangeHack enabled Bug:
1.

Yep.
I installed a fresh copy of Unreal Gold, then copied the contents of
http://www.oldunreal.com/patch/OMP0.99-UnrealGold.7z to its System folder. After launching Unreal, I briefly tried a map with the standard settings then changed some of my Advanced Options as I always do. After doing that, restarting Unreal, and watching the flyby, I noticed the error. To verify, I launched Edge of Na Pali and made my post here after taking the screenshots.
I plan to do more in depth testing later.

Well, you need to disable ZRangeHack for that. Surprisingly I only noticed this problem in 224 so far. Just good it isn't the UT version

Well, you need to disable ZRangeHack for that.
Right.

But the whole point of posting the waterfall comparison screens is to show that ZRangHack has a visual advantage and is best not to disable it for the best appearance.

Not a huge issue or anything, but it is a regression from 227f.

yeah, and I'll have another look if I can make it work, but on the other hand, you can't expect the same results as with 227, to many things were updated and improved in between.

Makes sense.

I did some more testing and noticed that OpenAL seems to be improved, and in general everything else seemed to work well. Hopefully you can fix that ZRangeHack bug, that'd be my only request.

Hey Smirf, you should focus your skills to incoming 227g and finalize it, then you may do OMPs.
But anyway... awesome!!

Seem to be getting an error when using these openAL drivers:
The procedure entry point alsource3i could not be located in the dynamic link library OpenAL32.dll.
I had OMP0.2 installed, so I repatched to 436, then drag and dropped all these files in. No luck..
guess I'll reinstall UT.

looks like your system maybe needs an updated version of OpenAL for this.
Grab the latest installer from
www.OpenAL.org

Thanks. It worked after installing OpenAL from that link.
Anyways, I'll use it when I can and report any major bugs. I can't use it on some servers due to ace protection on some servers (older version worked fine on ace servers so i'll switch back to that as needed).
Also, is the OpenGLdrv 3.7 drivers altered in anyway from the 3.7 on Chris's website? I noticed the size is different and I get kicked on ace servers by the one you provide. I decided to just use the one's directly from Chris's site.

As this is a test release there can't be any implementation in any anticheat yet.
Once it's tested and officially out, I'll talk to Anth if he can integrate it into his next ACE version maybe

.
OpenGL is 3.7 (also noted in the version info) from Chris. Just compiled into the package to make the OMP complete

.

Any progress on the new Open AL being finalized for the UT Version.
Would dearly love to have an updated version compatible with ACE an Anthchecker.
Thanks for continuing your work !

Good job! But why at D3D9Drv in options there are no keys BufferTileQuads, UseAlphaPalette and UsePalette?
And on map DCrater the alarm sound is playing only once, though should be with repeat. In Galaxy with it all was normal.
And do, please, the ability to disable the slow emergence and attenuation of music.
Also, it would be desirable to increase the range of drawing in D3D9Drv and OpenGLDrv.
P.S. When there will be version 1.0?
