OldUnreal (Engine)

Hello Community,

yesterday I decided to unzip my old Unreal Gold CD. I just wanted to play this amazing game but it is not working. All i got are error reports.

My System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Intel Core i5 750
4069 MB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
(All drivers are up to date!)

Unreal Gold Version:
226b

After Installing I get a message from mys system that Unreal.exe is not working anymore. I browsed this site here and installed the
"MultiInstallerNetPatchV1.0_OMPV0.2.exe"
and got the same error.

Then I installed the
"UnrealGoldPatch227h".
I unchecked the old weapons and followed the instructions. I choosed "OpenGL" and "OpenAL"
After starting I get the following error:

I get the same error if I try UnrealSafeMode and starting as an Administrator.
I'm pretty sure that this is not a Firewall problem  ;)


Please community, can you tell me if i did something wrong? This is one of the best games in history and I don't want to miss it on my windows 7 pc.
