Music speed changes on the original Galaxy Audio
What i mean by this, songs like Found99 or Wargate (boat section for example) play way slower in game than in the UMX played by the tracker, was it intended by Epic? Or is there some bug in the sound engine itself?

Intended. It's the tracker that has these bugs.
Also, I have a compilation of all the Unreal music directly recorded from the game, and it's vastly superior to what you get from the tracker. For one, it has superb stereo effect that is missing in the tracker and the speed of the tracks is correct.

Re: Music speed changes on the original Galaxy Audio
Well i can understand that but really the second section of Found99 is really intended to be THAT slow? It doesn't even sound like music that way (though i don't know if it's used in the game, been a while since i played it, so if anyone remembers the name of the level where it plays, write the name of it, just found the entire soundtrack on youtube and almost every version uploaded uses game speed not the module).
Also because of that, you're saying that current Fmod and OpenAL audio drivers in 227G are bugged because they're playing those tracks the tracker way? Oh and also i used OpenModPlug and XMPlay to play those UMX files.

You mean section 1 or section 2, since the numbering starts from 0?

In Unreal 227g music menu, load Foundry99 and the section i mean starts at 1 or 10 (don't know how it is intended to start in-game but i think 10 is better) is it supposed to be fast or really slow like in this vid 1:30 on vid

This is section 1 and it's supposed to be fast. And it is fast with both Galaxy and OpenAL, and I remember it being slow and screwy like that on the tracker.

Re: Music speed changes on the original Galaxy Audio
Q: Why some sections of Unreal music in different tracker applications are too slow or fast?
A: You need to choose the right module of a section to make the song speed right, because the first module of the section tells tracker application what BPM the section should play.
Unreal's song's other sections are in the end of the song, but the first module of those sections are usually placed at 1st, 2nd or 3rd modules of the song, so you need to choose one of those first modules to make the section at the end play in right BPM.
If you jump instantly to the section in the end of the primary song, the section will be played in wrong BPM.
Hard to explain, I hope someone understands something.
Module = One block of a song
Section = Another song in a song file
