Her eyes look a little off....can't quite describe it.
Other than that, I'm actually impressed (y)

Yes you are right about the eyes. I worked on correcting that but it wasn't enough - it's still needs more adjustment. She's almost cross-eyed in the original! So it needs to be a balance in between I think.

Looking good!
Don't forget, Gina was a CONVICT, so she's naturally a Bad-Ass!
Will this skin work on a UT server?

Great improvement, very nice.
Although it somewhat focusses my attention on the low-polygon-ness of the model now.

I assume your referring to the pointedness of the..female features haha.
Also, great job on it, I hope it does make it into the S3CT with the other HD ones. =P

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I am working on a bunch of model skins at the moment and have completed a couple dozen (not player skins - gina is the only one at that level of completeness) All of the plants and trees are done since a couple years ago. The thing is model skins are not as easy to implement like textures in a .utx package. They are located in unrealshare.u for example. Right now I am getting in game screenshots by creating high res P8 BMP versions of the texture, delete the original from unrealshare, import the new one, resave, then play. This has a few drawbacks but lets me get screenshots.
1. server compatibility is broken
2. performance is not great
3. color is 8-bit for the texture
I believe with 227g things have been enhanced for easier S3TC use.

Well, with these textures I see no point in keeping the low res models. These threes should have better models as well. I'll think about doing this in my free time (some day)

New meshes would obviously be fantastic and I know you do great modeling. Big project however and it adds many complicating factors

I still havent deepened myself in other texture formats than dds, cause for me there is no real point to it. And by that i mean i only work with dds due to the nature of the project where dds simply offers the best advantage. So for the URP/UTRP project i would stick to dds format, since its the most effective anyway and tested to be very functional.
Of course the UnrealShare.u is a problem, untill somene creates a tool so the package can be updated without loosing netcompatebility. The other workaround would be to have it done through a mod. If the textures are located in a .utx file, than its not a problem as they can be updated with ease.
And yeah, with 227g you should be able to import them as dds rather than P8 for testing.

Her neck is scary. But the high res is very well done. In particular, I quite like what you've done in regards to the fabrics and would very much like to see more work from you in this vein.

smirftcsh indicated in this (link below) thread that he is able to create the versions of UnrealShare.u that contain the S3TC textures. Well, that is what I am counting on

I can do it with the sources I have. With them its possible to create netcompatible .u files. These files will be recognized by such things as uprotect however, but it will work.

Thanks - The fabric is really extremely simple but effective. It's just the photoshop filter called Texturizer applied to the original graphic. Her skin is also mainly unchanged but with a small amount of the Plasitic Wrap filter applied to bring about a more sweaty look - just like a body builder rubs on oil to accent every feature under the lights.
