I know this is a super old bump but it's better than making a redundant thread... right?

Anyways, for whoever gives a damn, my old site's password was magically reset, so the new website is located at:

http://udhq.host22.com

Circumstances permitting, I will try to have updates on a once per week minimum basis.  :)

000 resets it quite often, but only the FTP passwords which are not md5'd so you'll be able to recover. Uh except if it's not too late. :P

nice website! (http://www.udhq.netau.net/)
tip: use MS frontpage for HTM/HTML websites, it's basic and easy..
and use the *.PNG format for transparent images, just in case :)

I don't like frontpage, bah...

I made my site (http://thedarkside.net63.net) only with notepad and PS/IR (for buttons).

A bump is always allowed, even yearts later, but only if it adds new info to the old info. Posting a new location for the site aplies to that alright.

P.S. i use IE but cannot read the text since it does fall off the screen on the right side. Your old side, it already was bad because you were forced to scroll horizontal. In the new one the the screen is still the same size but lacks the scrollbar. Which than means aprox 33% in the width cannot be read at all.

You need to set the width to 100%(never use pixels) and the text should aadapt to any screenformat and will be readable regardless the screensetting.

Thanks Diehard!! Jackrabbit told me about how you helped him out a lot. I'm really grateful for the assistance... We've been trying to fix the site for a long time (and when I say 'we' I mean JR, because I'm terrible at site design :/).

Good night, and good luck

np :)

And it looks alot better, but now theres an unwanted feature present. Somehow the client visiting the site is able to change the size of the seperate frames. Lol, didnt even knew its possible.

At least it in IE 7 you can do that.

Yeah possible in every browser. Just add noresize at the end of frame
This should fix it. Personally I suggest to use div's and css - it's a lot better.

Looks like I managed to find my old forum post... Well, not to annoy anyone here, but I've made a major update to my site, and I think a lot of community members could be interested..!

I've added a lot of information about the recent projects I've been working on, including Whirl, Static Mesh Support, etc... Drop by the site if you're interested!

Major update - 000webhost terminated my server for violating their shitty ToS, AFTER I talked with a CSR, who said that I am "not violating ToS in any way". What a bunch of assholes.

The website is now located @ http://udhq.000space.com (not affiliated with 000webhost).

In other news, my main computer burned out about half a month ago, and so the UDHQ server is down.... or so it was, until Jackrabbit decided to host it! The UDHQ is now up 24/7 (ideally) and welcomes all players. (Yes, even lying assholes like you, Oz!).

And for the record, no, nobody will ever be "hacked" in my server. I've made it clear with my admins that such behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and any cases in which a violation is observed will result in an immediate revocation of admin. This being said, I am also currently looking for administrators who would like to help us test mods, contribute mods/maps, and keep the peace in the server. Ideally, new admins would be people who are honest, responsible, and familiar with administration & mechanics of the game.

In the meantime, I'm confined to my underpowered laptop, but still work on mods/maps from time to time.

Update:
I've updated xCoop to v2.5. It now reinstates client protection against ForceCommand - Clients must authenticate (or discard, of course) commands that admins wish a client to execute. For example, if an admin wishes for you to execute "Say Hi", you can type "Allow" to perform the command, or "Deny" (or do nothing) to do nothing with the command. v2.5 also allows for more administration from the server console, i.e. ability to restart, killid, kickid, etc... from the console.

I have also uploaded DLReporter (Download Reporter - requires v227!) and Toasty (in-game chat sound mutator).

For anyone who wants a few laughs, I've also added my old buddy, Oz, to the "Players" page. Ha ha.

The website has been moved to here.

The old webhost (000webhost) crapped out and trashed the site randomly.
