Help! Looking for an awesome Unreal song.

Hello,
So I was playing Unreal 1 online in a multiplayer match a while ago, and the server I was in had this awesome map called "Cosmic Garden", and it had this AWESOME song along with it. I sat out for a bit of the match to record the song, but unfortunately I didn't get the whole thing, so I was hoping someone could tell me where I could get this awesome song or at least the name of it?
Here is the link to download an mp3 of what I recorded:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H3QAAII6
The file is 3 mb.
I'd appreciate any insight or help on this. I have to have this awesome song! Thank you!

cat Cache.ini | grep cosmic
You will get list of packages in your cache. Just find file with name like map name.

Or you can open the map in the Editor and export it. Then use dBAmp to convert it to a usable format like mp3. It's been done before.
:-)

Awesome! Thank you for such quick replies.
Okay so I am new to this, so would you be able to walk me through step by step of what I need to do, download, install, etc to get the song? The "grep cosmic" thing; is that done in the console within unreal?
I downloaded the map on my own, but when I started my own game it didn't play the song.

It is just a way to export package from cache.
If you already have this map, you don't need to search in cache. If you don't hear any music, may be you just don't have all packages or this map doesn't have any music. Try to do like in Buster's post.
grep is *nix program, but also available on Windows using msys or cygwin.

Or you could, you know, use Notepad's Search function

Use notepad? What would I do to find it?
So which Unreal Editor should I use? I have the one that came with the Unreal Anthology, it's in the UT2004 folder. What do I need to do from there? Unpack the .uxx files in the cache?
I downloaded the music editor ModPlug Tracker, but I'm not sure on to where I would find the song. Would it be in the music folder, or in my cache, since it was probably downloaded from the server?

In the cache, and that's why you need notepad - Cache.ini shows you the filenames.
Though make sure that the path doesn't go over 80 characters if you have an Anthology install, that will make your Editor fail on opening pretty much any package file (you could place them somewhere in a shorther path though).

Okay. Where can I find Cache.ini?
Would you be able to break down for me the steps? I'm sorry, I'm really new to this. I've been reading through the tutorials and manuals online, but I'm still pretty new to this.
So I'm using some UConvert program and it is telling me which .uxx files in the cache are maps, textures, and music...however, if I rename the file extension on the ones it identifies as music, the ModPlug player won't open them. Is this the correct thing to do?

1. Goto Cache folder (located in your Unreal folder)
2. Search for Cache.ini, open it.
3. Find that map you played, use notepad search.
4. The music should be close from it. Search for .umx extension.
5. If you got it, copy its cache name (it should look like this: 2312312B3445FGHSD) (ctrl + c).
6. Close Cache.ini
7. Paste cache name to windows search (ctrl + v).
8. Find it.
9. Rename it ("yourmusicname".umx).
10. Move it to Music folder (ctrl + x).
11. Open it in editor and listen it.

The 11th step might not work out of the box, as I have explained. It might require additional Unreal.ini tweaks.

Wonderful, thank you for those steps.
So, since I don't have a Cache.ini file, I used the program to tell me which .uxx files were music/audio files, and then I compared their creation date with my recording date, and assembled all the ones it told me were audio files and had the same date as my recording, and I renamed the file extension from .uxx to .umx. Modplug Tracker won't open or play them. And I don't know how to open/import them with UnrealEditor.
Would someone be able to look at these files for me, see if I am doing anything wrong? If you find the song, could you convert it for me? I'd be highly appreciative. Here's a download for the files:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2OGUZN6K
It's 3 MB.
I do have the unreal.ini, and I made sure that the "purgecache" was set to zero. It was already zero when I opened it.
THANK YOU!

Cache.ini only exists if you use Unreal 227 version.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is great! I love this song. Thank you very, very much. I was getting tired of listening to the same unfinished clip!
So this isn't an actual Unreal song, it looks like? It's just a MOD made by someone named Dario, not made for the unreal game, someone just happened to use it for the server since it sounded like it belonged in Unreal?
