Quick question or two
(I'm not gone yet either.)
So I put Unreal Gold with 227f on my new computer. Which leads to my question.. How can I bring back the old menu from Unreal Gold?
Also, how would I be able to raise the maximum framerate limit from a constant 60 fps? I just wanna know how far Unreal could go with the framerate on my computer.
Any help would be appreciated in advance.

Re: Quick question or two
To enable Unreal Gold/UT menu interface, just follow these simple steps:
1. First go to Advanced Options. (Either from within the menu or by typing 'Preferences' in the console)
2. Expand 'Drivers' group and change 'Console' to 'UMenu Browser Console'. The third console available there, 'Standard Unreal Console' is deprecated and NOT recommended to be used!
After a restart of the game the console is changed.
To raise the FPS limit:
1. Stay in (or go back to) Advanced Options.
2. Expand the 'Rendering' group, then expand your selected video driver.
3. Change 'SwapInterval' to 0 to disable V Sync. (V Sync syncs/limits your frames to your monitor's refresh rate.)
4. Put desired FPS cap in 'FrameRateLimit' (so put 100 for a cap of 100 FPS for example), or put 0 to uncap which removes the limit completely. But keep in mind that Unreal will move too fast to be playable once a certain FPS threshold is crossed.
If you're using the UMenu, you can choose Tools > 'TimeDemo Statistics' to see the FPS drawn live at the top left corner of the screen as you play.

But indeed UGold Menu is the "new" Menu not the old
The UGold Colors are the metal scheme.

Re: Quick question or two
Well, for some reason the framerate won't raise over 60. But i'm fine with it as it is. So until I want to raise it for some reason, i'll refer to this thread for the answers and stuff.
Thanks for the help guys. (Not sarcastic.)

Re: Quick question or two
It's most likely not going above sixty frames because vertical sync is limiting Unreal's fps to your monitor's refresh rate. Since you should have disabled vsync in Unreal if you followed my earlier instructions, then perhaps your video card's settings are overriding Unreal's? Check your vc's control panel and either change vertical sync globally to "let the application decide" or create a profile for Unreal in the control panel and do it that way.

Re: Quick question or two
Another question. Everything from RTNP disappeared after installing the latest 227. (After installing it 3 weeks ago i'm pretty slow to realize.) The question is, what do I have to do to bring it all back while keeping 227?

Re: Quick question or two
227g will have RTNP fully included. In the meantime take the RTNP for Unreal 225 conversion which works fine in 227 to play it

Full '227' for Gold is greatly anticipated by me and my Gatherstone (Unreal Gold) site.

Re: Quick question or two
I've got the patience for 227g. I'll distract myself with some other stuff until then. Whenever it may be. Thanks for the responses by the way.
