OldUnreal (Engine)

It's been a very long time since I have played this game.  I used to know a lot of y'all from gaming.  I originally started this game as Lord_Rahl.  I left Unreal the first time for 3 years.

I was astonished to see names I still recognize and respect.  I'm glad y'all are still around.  You might have known me as -§moKe-{DOG} before I left Unreal to go play Battlefield 2.  While I still enjoy BF2, I'm looking to do some Unreal gaming again.  Would be nice to see AcidRain and Havok again.

I'm in need of a little assistance here.  I see there have been a lot of changes made.  More patches released thanks to Wolf & co.  I am wanting to know if there are anything specific I need to download and install to get going again.

Any and all help would be much appreciated.

If you want to play, 227f is recommended. You can find it from downloads of this site.

227f doesn't have Unreal Gold support, but it installs anyway. It turns Unreal Gold -> Normal Unreal, but doesn't delete Unreal Gold stuff. 227g will have Unreal Gold support.

You may also ask Smirftsch if you like to be 227 tester. 227g has been very long in development. It has all-kind very interesting features like StaticMeshes (as UT2004), mesh detail textures and better shadows than 227f.
