This is just for test, basically added different bumpmap and texture over it and also footstep sounds to the texture, just to show what can be done.

You can see the texture added over it is like twie there, one miniature one and one big one. I added it to bump map and texture properties and detail texture.

All I see on that video is a detail texture (quite ugly one too).

Why ugly? Btw the video was in avi format it is first time I tried to directly upload that, but youtube converts it badly so it is worse quality. The effect was meant to be like a markings which are revealed when you get close, more abstract effect I had in mind.

The bump maps work, because in the texture there is not the second layer originally.

Bump map is not used by the renderer and not even directly visible for render device. The only renderer I know that uses bump map variable is D3D10, but it's not available for 227 yet.

Then why is it in editor showing only one line of these textures when I get close to it? Not the small lines over there

A bug then? But believe me - download UT headers and search for BumpMap - it's declared ONLY in UTexture (and EngineClasses) and used nowhere - trust me on that :).

Just try, remove bump map and you will see no difference.

I see, the doublelayer appears on 227f direct3D9 or something. SO it is not bumpmap then, sorry.
