It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

wth...
I'm running a little test server, and it shows up in the master server list. However, I can only join it via LAN IP. When I try to join via actual IP, I get this error message in the Unreal Console:
Nephthys: (date) (time) NptServerUplink: Uplink Query Berating from Non-Master Server 192.168.1.1:2080, only expecting 216.27.56.3:27900
WTH is this all about? I haven't ran a server in some time, but I never had this issue before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Re: wth...
You should only be able to see and join your own server from LAN anyway, since you're joining it from the same network it's running on...so don't worry about it.

Long time no see!
Do you have unreal bound to a specific interface/ip? Looks like, and this is entirely speculation, that it is reporting your internal NAT'd IP to master.

It might be bound to a specific IP. The only reason that could've happened is when I did the port-forwarding on my router so the server would broadcast. Just not sure why it's doing it, like I said, I've run servers numerous times in the past without this happening. It's not a big deal, as long as other people can join. I may be forwarding the wrong ports, Idk.

RTM.

try setting bBerateFakeMasters=false
Also it's not an issue. It's a message made by nepthy's. According to the "manual" it has to do with "remote partners which query an "outgoing" uplink port instead of querying the proper query port."

Re: wth...
When I used to run a server on my network, I always saw it in both LAN and Internet server list. I see no reason for it to be otherwise, except if you set your LAN IP to drop all WAN packets (which is pretty hard to do imo). You should only be able to see and join your own server from LAN anyway, since you're joining it from the same network it's running on...so don't worry about it.
