Just got Unreal Gold and tried to open it up with Unreal.exe, but it claims that "window.dll" is missing from my computer. I downloaded window.dll and I still get this message.
When I open up Quickplay and click Install, it just quits on me.
Anyone know what the problem is?

It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Bad. Don't do it again lolI downloaded window.dll
It's refering to a file Unreal requires to run properly. Did you actually install the game before just trying to run the executable? Also, check that you have the file window.dll in your UnrealGold/System folder. If not, then copy it across from the CD.
