"Added a new actor called "FluidSurfaceInfo" for creating a wavy water mesh for water surface."
No external tools required like in the mod.

It would be better if it animated on impact creating bigger waves or any effects inside, like the newer engines do.
And as far I know the author is planning to do more with it.

oh cmon!

thats again a discussion like:

A:Hey I've seen something great!!!!
B:But we have that already and its easier to use?
A:The other one is being improved some day.

whats up?
it should be:
A: A:Hey I've seen something great!!!!
B:But we have that already and its easier to use?
A: Wow, even easier to use? That's good news, but can waving by impact be implemented?

...

We've used mesh as water surface long time ago in TCO and this technique is very limited by UT mesh rendering and it's not very usable on very large water surfaces (we have it in first TCO trailer from 2005: http://www.tcn.unreal.pl/Files/TCOTrailer.wmv). It's not like much more can be done with meshes as water surface (like water impact) without C++ or ugly hacks :). 227 version is way better and easier to use.

yeah, but using 360 triggered lights isn't exactly handy for "normal" usage ;)
