It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

IF there comes an U3, U2 was kidna dissaponting to me, it had skaarjs yea, but thats like 1 of the less monsters appearing who were in Unreal1 to. And the Story has Litarliy nothing to do with that oe Unreal. Other then that the game had nice graphics and was nice to play with, only to bad you wont recognize it if you Played Unreal1 before.

Nice to see that it has been released. It seems that my whining finally paid off. ;) (no offense intended)

I'll update my server in the coming days / weeks. (Whenever I make time) I'll also update my site with a news msg and download.

You don't have to register to Fileplanet to download, only the 'subscribers' link, which is probably faster or easier Idk. that blue tab works for non-registered people..

THe Skaarjs are cool indeed, but not if its the enemy number 1 in every mappack, its like every mappack is based on the same mission, escape from the Skaarj.
If some1 could just import some Drakk stuff for meh.. :P

Is there a "Sacred" file in any of your folders at the time you loaded that? If so, then the package is probably corrupt.

No, it is missing from the package. It is a music file I think, at least Unreal Gold (RTNP) has a music file Sacred.umx. I'll try this one.

I check on the issues. the mars music file is in the zip file. Sacred is a standard Unreal music file, not included.

Onced the beta came avaialable I decided thisNthat had to go in. The exit to Toxic went towards Cryox and the maps that followed. I managed to make the connections work. I don't have trouble with the rain effect in 224, the 227 my need to look at that and see what, but I admit it is a framerate killer, I had to restrict it heavily, I used to have it over the entire map, but cut the effect back.

The Fhub6 map (previous to Cryox) uses an unused skybox and I gave it a workover, it fits in the storyline direction as you are moving to a cold environment.

The Abyss security area Asgard commented the map needed something more. I had varying ideas how to do it and development kinda grew out of space restrictions where to make it fit.

The design however, is on purpose, and that was to confuse the player.

EVen I played it thru since I made it and I got lost. It was a tricky build but worked.

There will be an update to the game, probably when the Space marines get updated, that will happen.

Sacred.umx is not on my Unreal CD. It is from Gold / RTNP. Because your map pack is intended for players / servers with Unreal 226 without Gold or RTNP, it should be included IMO.

Well i agree with Hyper, you should always add all files that are not part of Unreal. And lots of people have Gold, so they dont need it, but anyone not having Gold are forced to go look for the files.

And nowadays the filesize from the zipfile doesnt really matter anymore. So you should always add all files needed to play that specific map or maps.

looks like I left out K_Autumn

I must have tried K_Autumn in Uskaarjshipend but removed it, ther must be a ghost data in it, will have to include anyways, its a cool tune anyways with a Nali feel to it.

I will post that tune up as a separate DL and update the full archive.
If your skilled already with UNrealEd you can find K_Autumn at the Mod Archive and insert it yourself. I used its name, no name changed but the conversion to UMX.
DMVilla doubledot fixed.

my bad, Sacred.umx not standard Unreal, from RTNP, will include.

for the note, the real RTNP: Search is already in the works.

I wish it didnt take this long but a lot of things happenned which helped development. I hoped to have it done before U2 came out. Oh Well.

The storyline fits between RTNP and U2.

Will you fix that duplicate door mover in one of the cabins of ucrashsite2 too, perhaps later?

Also, what unused skybox ws in FHUB6? There was none in beta, the only skybox that ever was in beta is the one in Unreal.unr but the actor was myleveled and sky didn't show, unless you delete that atcor and replace it with the normal skyzoneinfo.

unused skybox from Unreal, not the beta, for this project I looked over what did NOT get used and did something for it.

In Unreal in Vortex2 you encounter the dead guy in the chair, he wriggles and dies when you get close to him. I found another touch encounter and that is in the duskfalls map.
Thats if you went into the first NaliHut.

There are little things like this all over.

Electric wire that bounces around has another feature not used in Unreal, got used here.
I had an unused music from Unreal in the game but decided it was so similar to the others something else more effective was needed. That was done.


Glatherial 1 sky was fixed, and a scripted event in that level was found but turned off, I brought it back fitting it into the storyline.

Toxic had a hidden room that didnt trigger, fixed that.

The list goes on and on.

Hmm, also in crashsite1 there was unsued skaarj plane, it is at keynum 7 by default, if you return it to 0 and trigger it, it flies to the unused part of spaceship and then crashes in bridge.

And where did you find that skybox then? It looks alike to the radikus one.

Mac user here (gulp!)
I need K_Autumn, but FilePlanet requires InternetExplorer and some PC-oriented configuration to download the fixed version or the patch. Not possible on my machine.
I'm enjoying Unreal-Search: Prelude with oldskool, but it's frustrating not being able to finish.
Can you help me find the file?
Couldn't find it on Unreal Gold.
