Change of paths?
Just wondering if there's anyway to tell Unreal like where the path is to the textures folder or something without breaking Unreal completely...cause like, I don't use S3TC, but I still like to check it out every now and then to see what's new, and I was thinking maybe changing the path to like /TexturesS3TC folder would be easier then backing up and replacing and then re-backing up and replacing again when I wanna go back to normal textures.

Umm, yes, you can do exactly that. Copy your Textures folder, install S3TC there and change your textures path to your new folder.

omg shiv...you can set paths almost anywhere actually. And I am heavily relying on paths for years. For example I put some conflicting files in another path and use different ini to join the server, which doesn't have the same path. I avoid mimsatches that way.

Yeap, not knowing paths is odd to say the least.
Tip: You can also use absolute paths, like C:\UnrealIncludes. Unfortunately, they don't work in Linux the last time I checked, since the root folder is called "/".
