OldUnreal (Engine)

The almighty Warlord deleted sequence....now in video...for first time I guess.

Wonder why they didn't leave the scene in? That is truly awesome.

I was told they took it out because it didn't work most of the time.

Yeah hes supposed to like...you know..fly away when he sees you instead of being "LOLOL DURRUDUR KICK DA BODY LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH KICK DA BODY LOLOLOL KICK LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH"

A few adjustments that I found makes him react when you get a certain distance from him, making the scene perfect. I can't remember what all they are, though.

lol he's feeding on the dead body.

I also see he uses the Kick Animation wich the normal default Unreal warlord never uses. I used the Kick animation a couple of times, KickDamage also works with the Warlord as mesh. Which is pretty awesome if it randomly melee's you by either way striking or kicking you, wonder why Epic didn't to the same..

I used invisibility cheat.....read the video description sigh...

OMFG....I did that on purpose so it is seen pretty close up, besides i altered his sight as well.

This scene I think was described in the manual for Unreal, or from some other source. I can't really remember, but it said something along the lines of "A big ugly creature has just eaten one of your buddies." I think that was Hyper's site.

I have a Finnish walkthrough manual that mentions about that Warlord (that you see a big monster right outside the Vortex Rikers that just taunts at you and flies away).

There is nothing like that in the manual I have here...maybe someone could upload the manual?

It doesn't matter it is somethin rare nonethless and I like to collect Unreal stuff, all kind of.

Yeah, there it is. I'm assuming Hyper copied this from the manual, and if so, that means just like the Sniper Rifle's old alt-fire, Epic put this in the manual and forgot to change it when they removed it from the game.

Maybe he took it from an old version of Unreal site. I don't have it in my manual, only the story, but not that. The description ends with that you are being awakened in the cell.
