It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!
If you have any further concerns feel free to contact me: Smirftsch@oldunreal.com

Re: The Chosen One
I know - I already said this warning isn't easy to get rid off. Even though the threat itself is gone message will be there for some time. Anyway I've deleted the malicious code but it's not up to me to delete message.

Strangely when I click on that link Hyper said it shows me ton of scams with "infections/malware" on my computer, but when I copy->paste the URL to my browser it opens the page just fine.

but the latest news is from Nov 5th, 2008,so are u planning to update that page again,or is their anything u can say about the stage of the project now? because the moddb site doesnt say anything since its from 2008 :-?

Dump windows and get Linux, you or anyone else won't have to worry about that kinda sh*t ever again lol.
It surely looks nice here.

No ty, I'll use what the majority uses. I want things to work. It's not worth the hassle to change platform to avoid a few security issues. And my Windows security is quite okay. (All patched, firewalled, Realtime-AV-checkeed and javascript is OFF here by default.)Dump windows and get Linux, you or anyone else won't have to worry about that kinda sh*t ever again lol.

Sounds like what I do, but I use FireFox with NoScript, alot more easier to manage which websites can execute scripts and which are forbidden. No ty, I'll use what the majority uses. Also I always keep my IE security setting to block everything except file downloads, which also breaks MSN's advertisements, good enough for me..

I use Comodo Internet Security and a router, and haven't had any virus problems in years. I guess servers are another story, though.

Re: The Chosen One
When I boot on windoze, I have CIS, AntiVir, SAS, MBAM, S&D and Sandboxie, and I use Firefox within Sandboxie so I don't give a nut about what happens in there. lol
Mostly I use Linux, no worrying about shit at all there, if you don't run anything as super user (and of course you won't), there's nothing to worry about.
Put important sh*t in /usr or /var or w/e, set owner to root and permissions to 000.
