is there a way to patch unreal to 225f if you don't have the cd inserted in
the cd drive?
it seems patch 227 can be installed without cd is this true? and does jcoopz, dzmapmut and other stuff works with it?

It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Yeah it's simple.
When it asks for the path to the CD, give it C:\Unreal or wherever you installed Unreal.. However, this may only work if you have a unpatched Unreal, not really sure... Depends on what you have.

227 does require an installed Unreal version, but it doesn't depend on the install CD necessarily, while it can be "fooled" like described above anyway 
Yes, 227 is having almost no reported compatibility issues with all popular mods, just a very few minor things came up which seem to be fixed already by now by their authors.

great to hear that i just had my host installed patch 227f it gives me some work configuring all mutators again but oh well i have time
