If you make a shortcut to the unreal.exe file for running a dedicated server, in properties of the shortcut, the startup line, after the directory path, you want to add "map?game=gametype -server"
without quotes of course
So an example would looking like "c:\unreal\system nyleve?game=unrealshare.coopgame -server"
iirc there's a bunch of tutorials on this sort of thing ain't there?

I don't know, I never saw a way of accessing something like that... But whatever... Did you try what I said before (putting the map name and game type after your ftp command thing)?

I dunno why you'd pay for a server in the first place...can't you run it yourself? There's loads of tutorials on how...

i ran it myself some years but i got tired of getting over my bandwitch in
only 17 day, and since i now have a laptop it not good for servers.

Well that depends...Unreal doesn't take a lot to host...the only thing your laptop really needs is like half a gig of ram to run an Unreal server...and I'm sure u got more than that. And what do u mean u went over your bandwidth in 17 days? That doesn't make any sense lol...
If bandwidth is a problem, you can always lower the ammount of players that can join....why don't u post your laptop specs and internet upload rate here...

heh...well...I suppose I could always host a server for you...I already host for others anyway....one more couldn't hurt could it?
I'll have to wait till after Xmas though, cause i'm running an extra DM server atm for the Xmas theme...but we'll see when the time comes if you're still having trouble with this.

And it depends what u want from the 225 Unreal.ini...mods aren't installed in the ini...they are in seperate .u files =/
