It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

NAT Server Help

I have an embarq dsl router and can't see to get this to host a server.

Windows firewall was off for testing.

These are the NAT settings I've put in:

start port and end port should be the same i've always did it that way
and it works great.
This is how i set up for server start port 7777 end port 7777 and so and so..
Your static Ip is correct
and where is port 7779 its for master server uplink if i remember.
try doing it the same as i did here:

Got it fixed.

Had to also put in the game ports on the router firewall.

don't you have a log to post? It makes things a little easyer to find
out whats wrong.

Very strange be sure no other firewall like the one from windows blocking
it.
Check all your ports are decently forwarded

7777, 7778, 7779+, 27900/27500
Also most vista (if you run on vista) security programs could block it also.
Be sure your unreal.ini is correct double check it.... and check if server
stay up and does not crash...

can't think of anyting more now so.... :P

Apparently..1 out of 4 people I asked can see it. The firewall log shows nothing being blocked. I just don't know anymore :(.

it worked on his machine before so.....
what i think sp 2 got installed the next day and that way it got fked up.

if you read the log, it works the first time, then fails on the next map, which is typical of vista problems or an actor persisting problem which I accidentally created once, he might need to try a different gametype

Been on SP2.
Zombie perfectly normal and been living with the warnings since 225
Zombie(9:32:54 PM): Bascially just means it successfull bound at level start and newest attempt does nothing new
Oblivion  (9:33:05 PM): yeah
Zombie(9:33:54 PM): FYI. reuplinking in jcz was designed for when servers lost their ISP connection
Zombie (9:34:16 PM): if server switched maps during a dead connection, the server would never uplink...hence why jcz retries on interval

This maybe can be fixed by enabeling only 1 processor instead of 2.
Sometimes this fixes alot of problems with older games.
I don't know how the program to do this whas called again but if you
want il look for it and post a link to it.

This maybe can be fixed by enabeling only 1 processor instead of 2.
If you have Windows, you can do that from task manager afaik.
