How would YOU want Unreal 3 to be?

I've been thinking recently about the Unreal series in general, about how Unreal was delayed constantly until it's release and exceeded everyone's expectations, the start of the UT series as an expansion to Unreal, why Epic decided to let another company develop Unreal 2 (hell, they took over UT2k3 and brought us 2k4 and developed UT3 on their own), and why Epic has persisted in releasing nothing but one UT after another. Then I wondered what they would do next. Why are they putting UT on hold for a long time? Are they working on Unreal 3 in secret? Are they just going to abandon Unreal for a while to support Gears 1 and 2? Are they going to release a Gears 3?
All of this combined is almost painful to think about because I know almost every single person on OldUnreal wouldn't mind seeing Epic develop Unreal 3, yet they don't know how they want it to be, or they (or at least I) fear that Epic may have actually meant they were putting the entire Unreal series on hold, not just UT.
That brings me to my question. If Unreal 3 were being developed right now, how would you want it to be?
For me, I want it to start out like Unreal. It doesn't have to be a crashed ship, it could be a derelict base on some planet, moon, or asteroid. I also want it to take place on Na Pali, or at least let us visit it somehow. Another thing is for Epic to remodel the original Unreal pawns. They did with the Skaarj in UT, UT2k4 and alongside the Nali in UC2, and the Krall in UT3. But I'm tired of seeing the Skaarj being remodeled game after game after game, and I don't want just the Krall to be remodeled. I want to see what a Brute would look like if they remodeled it to fit in with the Unreal Engine 3. How about a Gasbag? Hell, I wouldn't mind seeing the Titan. Maybe the Warlord could come back? (there sure as hell can't be just two of them) Not only that, but I also crave a single player Campaign with remodeled versions of the traditional Unreal weapons like with every UT game, or at least reuse the UT3 weapons.
Epic brought Na Pali back in the form of WAR-Hostile for UT3, however the sky was overcast and so you couldn't see the two suns (at least I couldn't). The area did have some Nali crucifixes scattered around the area, and you could hear Slith and Titan sounds. Maybe this is a hint? Maybe they listened to us, are developing Unreal 3, and released WAR-Hostile to tide us over?
Anyway, that's my thoughts. Now I want to hear yours.

(!) WARNING (!) - No homo implied for every sentence...
~
MAP #1 - IN THE ENEMY'S GRASP
Another Human-Skaarj war is coming to its end...
The winner is not declared yet...
(We see Human and Skaarj spaceships fighting, with some sexy FX.)
The temporary Human base located on a small planet named Cha 110913-773444 (we'll call it Ares from now on) is still holding, but barely...
It's the last planet that's currently left in human possesion...
The Skaarj are trying to overtake Ares and completely wipe out the human race, once and for all...
The protagonist, namely Phrixus Aspasia Vladimir Frediano, is the commander of one of five remaining troops.
Their task is to defend the planet to preserve the existence of human race.
The engineers in his team are currently working on a small space shuttle that will be used to infiltrate the Skaarj mothership.
Meanwhile, the Skaarj haven't conquered any more human land.
They haven't retreated either...
(Fade out, fade in.)
(Later.) The engineers have completed the space shuttle.
Now, someone must infiltrate the Skaarj mothership.
It's their last mothership and they have also lost incredible amounts of fighters.
- You done yet?
- Yes, commander.
- Ok I'm going in.
- Good luck sir...
(Commander Phrixus enters the space shuttle. We see it take off. Fade out, fade in. 1st person: space shuttle speeding to maximum. Approaching Skaarj mothership...)
(Suddenly, 5 Skaarj fighters spot the human vessel and attack.)
(Commander Phrixus defeats all of them with his wicked veteran skills and proceeds to the mothership.)

I want it to have some sort of connection with the original Unreal and have some of the original monsters like the Skaarj, Krall, Brute, and Mercs. Hell, I'd love to see a remodeled Titan among other variations of it (StoneTitan, LavaTitan, SteelTitan, etc).

That's a Krall, Age. He just grew that size due to the Titan Mutator.

I'd simply want Unreal 3 to have the same feeling as the original Unreal, something that Unreal 2 completely lost IMHO - the sense of scale and awe, the brillaint music, and that indescribable 'Unreal'ness that curiously, pretty-much every big singleplayer mod for Unreal/UT seems to recapture, but Epic or Legend never...

Pretty much this, using
the Unreal Engine 4, in an open world environment that focused on bring Na Pali to life and expanding on what was successful in Unreal. Assuming the player emerged onto the planet from a (crashed?) ship, he'd be able to travel in any direction he wanted to and the gaming world would stream based on his location. There would be a constant day/night cycle independent from the location with dynamic weather for rain, storms and the like.
There would be more models for the Nali, including children and female, assuming they exist. There'd be new Na Pali native creatures such as the rabbit and cow to make the player feel like he's/she's in a living world, and some species would be more aggressive than others.
There would be a variety of locations, just as there were in Unreal. Large, explorable Nali villages, temples, and Sunspire/Bluff Eversmoking-esque locations. I haven't played UT200X in quite a while, but I seem to remember a forest map that had several huts tucked up in the trees, and there'd be more of those kinds of things in Unreal 3. Places that were creative and magical. And of course there'd be more Skaarj and Mercenary locations to keep things fresh and varied. And in between all of these places would be the Na Pali native land waiting to be explored, which would have waterfalls, forests, lakes, open plains, grassy hills, an ocean with a beach, and those kinds of places.
Weapons would be distinctly Human, Skaarj or possible Nali and Mercenary. An idea could be that during the invasion, the Nali made some primitive weapons the player could use such as a crossbow. Though I'm not sure that'd be a good idea. The player could aslo find Mercenary weapons that differed in appearance and style from bother the Skaary and human weaponry. Though I also wouldn't mind if the original/UT weapons were used again.
I don't have much to say about the combat other than there would be a need to make sure it felt fluid, graceful and satisfying. Strategies for fighting the Skaarj should be different than fighting the Mercs which should be different than fighting the Krall. And it's much easier to say than implement, but the AI should be good enough to make the player feel the enemies are very competent in combat.
The music, lighting and general atmosphere would be very reminiscent of the original Unreal. I'd prefer it if there were no cutscenes that went to a third-person and an excess of scripted events because that can kill the immersion.
SUMMARY: Use next-generation technology to better meet the goals that were striven for in the original Unreal, all the while keeping the atmosphere the same.

What you'd want is basically some sort of STALKER on Na Pali. That sounds good.

When, and if they release it, we will know how will it look like. As far as i can see, Unreal franchise got oversaturated, and i realy cant think of what new they could put in 12 years old base formula. In the end the UT3 was the game that played like old UT99, but it ended with a bunch of gametypes that are now DEAD.(betrayal, greed, duel, warfare)
I can fully understand EPIC if they stop making unreal games, its just in modern warfare era unreal to most ppl became childish, and retro.(which i strongly dissagre, apart from retro, which i like alot

)
Saying this, i think that UT3 is the last arena-type video game for a long time...

What I'd like to see is the same thing that's been done with the original Resident Evil. The RETRO. All the neat stuff of the U4 engine, but all of the original Unreal 1 levels. Then they can do the retro of RTNP. After that continue the tale !!

For those of you who don't visit Beyond Unreal:
Look at Epic's website:
www.epicgames.com
Now say it with me: COME ON UNREAL 3!!!!
(no homo)
EDIT: The website is back to normal now. Weird.

This was on there apparently.
edit: Epic deleted forum posts relating to this, so obviously we weren't supposed to see it.

Epic seems to have forgotten that news spreads like the Plague. A Google search for the phrase ("It's Unreal. And it's almost here") brings up 123 results. Yeah.

Because Epic asked sites to remove it.

No real chance of them getting it removed everywhere. People know and it's about pointless anyway

That's odd. Here's the text of the article:
Rumor: Epic to announce Unreal Engine 3 for consumers
Like our sister site Big Download, you may have been asking yourself, "What was going on at Epic Games yesterday?" Well, we think we have the answer: According to the Joystiq Mole -- the same mole who accurately predicted NBA 2K10 Draft Combine and LucasArts' Lucidity -- the epic announcement will be the release of an Unreal Engine 3 PC toolset for consumers.
Our mole tells us that the toolset will ship with example objects, like weapons and maps, and will show users how to build their own custom assets. Odds are, the kit being a product for consumers (read: nonprofessionals), that the cost won't be all that high. Of course, knowing who's going to get their hands on this (again, read: nonprofessionals), we're totally frightened by the inevitable flood of Delta Squad fanfics that will unfold on YouTube.

Oh, well, someone on Beyond Unreal said that according to Epic, it's not going to be a game, so assuming that the above quote is correct, then I guess Epic really has left the Unreal series in UT's dust.
That's not to say we can't use the toolset to create Unreal 3 ourselves...

As I said in the beyondunreal threads, there are like three other options of what it can be, I do have some information which can lead me to what this can mean and if it is what I think it is, it is really great news, but I can't know for sure, this can be not related to it at all.

GUYS! Epic has just released the Unreal Development Kit for download FREE OF CHARGE!! It contains all of the features included in UT3 AS WELL AS the new features showcased at E3 earlier this year (Including Unreal Lightmass, WOOT!)
With this, we can make Unreal 3 ourselves! And not only that, we can MAKE it the way we want it to be instead of praying the Epic gets it right. The best part is, we can release the games we make with it!
Someone gather a team and start on U3 NAO!
