Contents of decoration - no pawn working

I just noticed it, when someone asked me how to add things like pupaes into it, it seems it worked on initial versions, but now it isn't working. Is there a workaround to it, or you must use dummyclass inventory or spawnpoint to spawn pawns from decorations now?

just looks like they changed the contents definition, just subclassing whatever you want and changing that will work

Yeah pretty much.
They changed the variable definition, they added var() class contents;

intsead of just class or just class in earlier versions.

The only workaround of this, is to make a new decoration clas, or inventory class, or fake it through spawnpoint. Kinda sad they changed it. Also funny that the maps made with the old method still have pupaes in the barrels and corpses, it is because the map doesn't check anymore for that once it is in it.

Yeah I also tried to hack it (manually setting contents=Class'UnrealI.Pupae' by copy-pasting the container).
The interesting fact is that it didn't work like that, but when I duplicated or copy-pasted an existing container, it worked...

Good thing it's reverted back to actor in 227g, though. :P

class delimitors are checked at compile time for code, and run time when editing the property, but apparently not when you access it.

Ah didn't notice that, good to see it fixed in some form anyway.
