I actually havent been able to find a good tutorials about making a unreal weapon from scratch(standalone animations,polygons,textures ets), nor any epxplanation which programs are used for it, and i would realy like to made my own custom weapon, after i have learned the unreal-ed.
Can anyone from this forum, who actually made weapons from scratch, direct me to some tutorial resources, and tools?
Sadly, the site doesn't work anymore....it had lots of useful stuff, but I think you can find some of it in wayback machine, although not sure if there were tutorial for models.
again I can only ask the people who have collected such tutorials, especially those which are not available anymore, to transfer those to the wiki
I have myself still a lot of things which are not uploaded yet, but currently I just don't have the time to sort everything out.
We need to make sure that these tutorials and howto's are not lost.

* chimeric @ BU
* WOD
* Mutation Device
* unreal.epicgames.com
* UnrealED Max @ unrealism
* some stuff from unrealized
* and few other tuts
Dunno it those are full site rips but contain few tuts. Here's a link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/6c9cac I don't have time to put it on wiki so if anyone want to do it - go ahead

You don't always need tutorials to learn Uscript, but that's just my opinion.

I really liked the WOD (weapons of destruction) tutorials. I'm glad that they were archived somewhere. I only did some very basic things, but I found the WOD ones easiest to understand. At least from the perspective of having no clue about modding weapons before reading them. I found the one on modifying the Stinger the most useful at the time.

I found this:
"To create animated models for Unreal mods, you will need the following tools" (Last Updated: 07/01/98)
