It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

I am putting together a team to help create a brand new set of Single Player maps!!

My plan is to gather members to create a new storyline to unreal, since we all know playing the game over and over in Unreal mode and epicly owning with out cheats.. is getting kinda old, so My vision is to make a new storyline and new maps! And you don't need to be a god mapper either, ANY person will be accepted! (s)he needs to know how to map though, or code, or create sounds/music and/or textures. =D

As maps are the more or less backbone of any singleplayer project, you're going to need a bit of mappers in your arsenal.

Well, here I am.

Also, I can help with the storyline and general design of the singleplayer project as I am very picky about storyline details when it comes to video games.

lol Casey...the real question is, do I NOT have maps that crash when rebuilt? There was the intro quake 1 map me and Addy ported over...when rebuilding that it crashed on UED1 but was fixed in UED2...however if it's that close to the limit, I'm sure adding all the lights and shit would surely make it crash. I'm sure I have some laying around...and if not I'll make some ::)

Once I get home of course...in a hotel atm away on a job...be back like tomorrow sometime :P

Make sure to steal all the mini soap bars and the batteries from the TV remote (Funny story behind that...:P)

And didn't Wtf1 crash on rebuild? Ued froze for me a couple of times rebuilding that map :P

anyways, I do have a map like that. and i even made said post about it. right now the poly count is over 10220+ :D

Wtf1 crashed when I opened it and moved into the floor in 3D view (no offense).

Also btw lol when I have 4 or moar tabs open in Firefox, the title of this looks like "Oldunreal Forums - NEED TEA...".

Its off topic, but the SGC map i work on has 19933 polys, but rebuilds like a charm, except it takes about 7 minutes to rebuild. But thats understandable i guess.
