R we already talking about 227g? When 227f (non-RC) will be out?

Why would you want a non-release candidate version of 227f?

Because it's not final 227f. It's RC.
Like Windows 7 beta, Windows 7 RC, Windows 7 RTM and the final Windows 7 which can be bought from shops.
Of course it's not final 227 patch. I am just wondering when 227f gets over with RC stage.

227f non-RC was already released, dude. That's why they're working on 227g. Because people found bugs in the already released 227f.
Get out from under that rock

If that is so, Smir should update news immatedly. News are saying "This release is a release canditate!".

227f is 227 RC, not 227f RC. 227g will also be a 227 RC, since we'll get RTNP support there and more bugs will be found.

There are only internal builds of every version, but once it's out, that's it, we go to the next one.

my only problem with settling on a "final" version is the "what if we find a crazy bug after we're done?"
bug lists can only get shorter one way though..

Make a Last Second Saved fix?

The new package loader would be great because unnecessary mismatches is an annoying engine flaw. Although it should have been implemented before 227f was declared a public RC or dropped if there will be 228 version development.

That is the purpose of a RC for the public. Even after a lengthy beta cycle with dedicated testers we move to RC as an extra safety. If the public does not discover "showstopper" bugs (obvious critical errors; broken features) within a few weeks then that same RC becomes final. The latest RC can just be re-titled as final.

There actually is an engine.dll I can supply with this new loader for 227f, but it would break UnrealIntegrity for that client

That means 227g will become RC2, and possibly final after a public trial period.
