Mod Compatibility - EDM5, Nephthys, JTool
Hey guys, quick question.
I need a little more admin control, and Jtool seems to provide everything I need.
I was wondering if there would be any conflicts between the 3 admin tools, and if there is, what would you guys reccommend?
Thanks

Those will work fine together as far as I know, but if you're using any form of 227 neph is obsolete, and if you really want neph.. talk to zora. thats a whole other discussion not really worht getting into

There shouldn't be any conflicts between mods, except if they use something as a message interceptor (like my mod does) although I think there should be no conflicts whatsoever. Anyhoo, if you need more powah, make your own mod if you know how to script.
As for the recommendations, I can't give you any because everything I have on my server is made by me, lol.

Well, there is a kinda major problem when running these. If I summon the admin tool and die, the EDMWeaponDrop dumps it right there for anyone to pick up. I was thinking about adding the red book, which is what it looks like, to a DestroyFromMap line. I dunno, looks like ill have to start reading on how to make my own mods, or perhaps Smartball could incorporate "Admin Rename in EDM 6

lol well yes, the EDMWeaponDrop mutator doesn't discriminate against any weapons - if you possess a weapon when you die, it gets dropped. With regard to "DestroyFromMap," I assume you're talking about the EDM "old features" mutator. Putting the item there will prevent it from being summoned in the first place, so I don't think that will solve your problem.Well, there is a kinda major problem when running these. I won't ever distribute anything with EDM that allows an admin to change any settings on the client without their permission, even if it's just renaming them. Sorry. However EDM6's mutators will be completely open source and you can possibly find a modder to make you something that suits your needs once I put it up for download.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
