It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Shivaxi, can't Frosty just email you the ini's so you can fix it for him...this is getting a tad bit old. lol.



Edit: Also i highly doubt it, but could some sort of network problem such as i dunno a virus be responsible? Highly unlikely but could it be so?

um....you don't need ur own PC for an MSN account....it doesnt work like that.  It's a simple program that you can login with your username and password on any computer.  Hell, all computers even COME with MSN Messenger already installed...
It isn't because he thought he couldn't use it anywhere else. Its because it isn't his computer and he doesn't want to install that crap on it. But still, I urge you greatly to just get MSN / Windows Live.

You can use Google Talk. No software required. Same with IRC.

1. Try reinstalling Unreal COMPLETELY (just let the old folder be and install Unreal again in another one)
2. If that fails, reinstall winblows
3. If that fails, reset your router, although a worm can't possibly reside there
4. If that fails, you're screwed...

Well, it can. There now is a router-to-router worm that infects routers and then starts probing around to find other routers to infect.

Wo thanks Hyper, dunno how could I miss such a thing with my relations to VX. :o

Just checked it, it's a Linux worm. :P If his router has its own OS, and not Linux (wtf Linux on a router lolomg), it's just as immune to everything as J2ME. :P

Okay...
1.) My UGold disk is scratched all to hell, so I doubt reinstalling it would work.
2.) "Winblows" XP is the base OS for this PC, and there is no way to reinstall. I don't have Windows vista either...

If there is anything I could do...
1.) I could totally erase my Unreal,
2.) Then copy the info off my flashdrive back onto the PC,
3.) afterwards, I can patch that to 227f...

Hopefully that'll work...

It doesn't matter if you have anything as a base OS or not. Just back up your data and reinstall your base OS.

Base OS? Wat? Reformatting is a normal thing. Btw while you're at it, install Linux. I'm running Linux on Virtual PC under faildows (winblows), I don't worship Satan, I just don't wanna dual-boot...
