i used the new xCoop, and its still changing my ports. the ports should be 27905/6/7 or something.. ports beyond 27909 aren't opened at my end so the server cant go through the router, meaning no-one sees the server

never mind, the ports stay the same, its working correctly. sorry bout that..
EDIT: i found whats up.. if the map changes naturally (so a player hits the end teleporter) everything is 100% fine. when i manually, by using 'switchlevel', 'open' or DZMapM's return to crash map function, it will just randomly select ports

never, EVER use open, that's a bad idea. Just don't. switchlevel or switchcooplevel is what should be done.
And the fix for the ports is done by switching the level normally, so switchlevel/switchcooplevel not doing it is a bug. I'll tell pcube.
edit: the difference between switchlevel and switchcooplevel is switchcooplevel keeps your inventory between maps and switchlevel doesn't

Actually Pcube got rid of the SwitchCoopLevel command in xCoop and made SwitchLevel also keep inventory on travel
I think you can re-add it though in the command list

Is't Open an alias of SwitchLevel?
ServerTravel FTW

open doesn't tell the clients to reconnect to the server, so notrly.

I seriously appreciate the feedback, but I think it would be better to move this discussion to the ER boards so as not to clutter OldUnreal's forums with xCoop related stuff. Requesting topic lock?
PS- Thanks for finding this bug, (it actually is a bug), switchlevel should NOT change ports.. "open" I can't do anything about, and it should never be used.
EDIT- I found and fixed the issue. I'll try to have a new release up today or tomorrow, after testing this some more.

by default, switchlevel or switchcooplevel wont work in the server's console, so the only way u can change levels is by using the 'open' command.

FAIL!
This is why the command 'servertravel' exists

Use that instead.
