OpenGL speed increase
I've searched a bit and can't find anything, so maybe you guys can help. When I install the multimedia update or even patch 227f to Unreal, so I can use the high res textures and run OpenGL, when you walk around in the single player campaign the game speed increases. You'll be walking around and all the sudden you start moving faster and faster. Any Idea why?

Re: OpenGL speed increase
set your FPS limit to your refresh rate in the ini or preferences, if you do not know your refresh rate, use 60. The game runs as fast as your FPS, 1 tick per frame on single player, so if you had > 500 FPS it would run much faster than intended, somewhere greater than 200 is where it starts to mess up, but you should never need more than your refresh rate.

Turn VSync on, for that will be the key.

After some testing, I've found out that you are pretty much required to turn on VSync in Unreal on newer PCs, because of flicker light usage. They tear too much when it's off. I don't like VSync too much, but Unreal pretty much needs it. It will also fix your problem, as a side effect.
